Everything Ecofriendly and Economic
This right here, my friends, is my new obsession. Organic virgin coconut oil. I bought this jar for less than $8 and I use it for everything!

Open up a new tab right now and do a quick google search for "coconut oil uses". Did it? Surprising, huh?! There's so much you can do with it!!

So what do I use it for? Well, when I bought it, I put it in the kitchen... but it just stood there for days without being used. I finally did the search above and it's new home was in the bathroom!

I have dry skin- so I use it as a moisturizer. I use it as a lip balm. I use it as make up remover. I use it for my hair and scalp. The great thing about this is that it also has antimicrobial properties to it! Yes, there's real scientific research that proves it! So guess what I also use it for? As a but balm for my baby! What?!! Lol! Yes this stuff goes on my baby's bottom too. Sometimes she has patches of dry or irritated skin so I put it on that too. Oh, and she ABSOLUTELY loves it when I give her an infant massage with it! Did I mention that it also smells amazing?!

And THE best part is... a little little little bit goes a LONNNG way! And I love how it starts off as a solid and quickly melts into liquid form once it hits your skin. How cool is that?!

Don't take my word for it. Just try it. If you don't want to use it as a health and beauty product, use it for cooking! It is so good for you!

What is this stuff? Magic?!! I love it!!!

I love it too especially as a natural cloth friendly diaper rash cream. I found out about it when I was looking for affordable, cloth friendly, widely availible alternatives. I've found it to be amazing at keeping my daughters bottom healthy and rash free.

My mom suggested that I use petroleum jelly as a moisture barrier when I first started cloth diapering and my daughter started showing signs of getting a rash. Didn't want to go that route so I found this and have been happy ever since. As far as I can tell it works like a moisture barrier but it doesn't cause build up on my daughters diapers. Win-win :-)

I've used the Lou Ann as well as 100% organic and they both work well.
